Common questions

The trainer says “Not connected”.

Wake the trainer by pedalling, make sure no other app (Zwift, the Wahoo app, a bike computer) is connected to it, then open Home → Trainer and pick it from the list. Cadexa remembers it for next time.

Which trainers work?

Anything that supports the FTMS Bluetooth standard: Wahoo KICKR and KICKR CORE (2018 and later), Tacx Neo and Flux, Elite Direto and Suito, Saris H3, Zwift Hub and most others made since 2018.

Heart-rate zones look wrong for me.

Open Profile → Heart-rate response. If you take medication that lowers your heart rate, choose that and enter the highest heart rate you have seen in a test or a hard session. Your zones then follow that number instead of an age estimate.

Can I add my own workouts?

Not yet. You can scale any workout's effort, and “Just ride” lets you set any target. Custom workouts are on the list.

How do I add the share card to my Strava activity?

After a session tap “Share ride card” and choose Strava in the share sheet; Strava asks which activity to attach it to. Apps cannot attach photos through Strava's API, so this is the way.

Will my rides show up in Garmin Connect?

Not automatically. Garmin only accepts activities from its own devices and approved partners, and never from Strava. You can import a TCX file on the Garmin Connect website.
