About the Karoo (2024, a.k.a. Karoo 3)
Hammerhead officially names it simply 'Karoo' (press calls it Karoo 3); launched May 2024 replacing Karoo 2. hammerhead.io now redirects to sram.com (SRAM acquired Hammerhead in Jan 2022). The SRAM page is feature-oriented and omits hardware numbers, so display size, weight, IP rating and memory are from BikeRadar's review. Battery-mode options (15 h / 30+ h / 35+ h) arrived via software update. Karoo OS 3.0 shipped Feb 2026.
